Vegan Red Velvet Cake with Cream Cheese Icing

Cake is where it all started for me. I learned to bake before I learned anything else in the cooking world. It’s where my love for the kitchen began and it still is my favorite today. Partly because I am a sweet-loving gal, but also because it’s so much more of a reward when something you bake comes out scrumptious!

Hearty Vegetable Soup

Vegetable soup is an easy and delicious way to get your vegetable intake! There are so many benefits of a good vegetable-filled soup that I’d be here all day if I tried to cover it all! It’s just so hearty, comforting, and flavorful!
I have tweaked this recipe to perfection and you’ll, no doubt, believe me when you get a taste of your own!

Long Lasting Teething Cookies

The thing I hate about the “teething rusks” that you buy at the store are how quickly they fall apart. I mean, I understand why… nobody wants their baby chocking, but they don’t really do much for teething. A good, hard but also chewy, bar is exactly what a baby needs when they are cutting teeth. These will feel so good on their gnawing gums, keep them busy, and they love the taste!

3 Quick & Easy Vegan Breakfast Recipes

I am often asked about vegan meal ideas, but most commonly I am asked about breakfast foods in particular. These days, people are going, going, going. So many people don’t even eat breakfast because they “don’t have time”. Well, here I am, once again, to save the day!
I came up with 3 quick breakfast meals that can be put together quickly and even taken on the go, if needed.  Continue reading

Quick and Easy Vegan Mac&Cheese

You can whip up this mouthwatering vegan macaroni and cheese in under 15 minutes with just 4 ingredients!

An 8oz bag of (Daiya) non-dairy cheddar shreds, a tablespoon of non-dairy milk, 4 tablespoons of vegan butter, and 2 cups of macaroni noodles is all the ingredients you’ll need to make this cheesy and tasty masterpiece that we like to call macaroni and cheese! Continue reading

Dairy-Free Whipped Cream

This is probably the easiest recipe to date. Just 3 ingredients and about 5 minutes and you have yourself some homemade, delicious, dairy-free whipped cream! This stuff is SO GOOD and easy that I made enough for all the desserts (15 cans of coconut milk worth!) last Thanksgiving and I had to make more for leftovers!

Yes, you can buy coconut whipped cream from the store, but you’re going to pay for it and truthfully… you won’t be saving much time either because this is SO EASY! Continue reading

Loaded Vegan Sausage Biscuits and Gravy

If you’re from the south, you likely love sausage gravy, over some delicious buttermilk biscuits. If you’ve ever been to a Huddle House, maybe you’ve even had their loaded biscuits, which are quite similar to these… except these are vegan (and possibly even yummier)!

This is actually a few separate recipes in one. You can use the pieces of them for other things, if you’d like, but this one is a true southern staple! Continue reading

Vegan Buttermilk Biscuits

This is going to be a quick and easy, but perfected buttermilk biscuit recipe. These things are so simple, with just a few ingredients, but are better than any other vegan biscuits I’ve ever had! I have to give credit where it’s due. This is actually Will’s recipe. Whenever we have these, I always make him make them, but he taught me this time. Probably so I’ll start doing it, but whatever, lol. Continue reading

Vegan Milky-Way Ice-cream Bars

So, this recipe is so easy, and absolutely scrumptious! My favorite, pre-vegan candy bar was a Milky-Way and I have been craving ice-cream so badly lately, so what better than to make some milky-way ice cream bars? So, that’s just what I did!  Continue reading
